Spectrum Communications honored as a finalist in the WI BBB Torch Awards

Spectrum Communication Services, Inc. was honored by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Wisconsin as one of only ten finalists in the 2011 Torch Awards at a luncheon at the Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee on Oct. 19. In their first year participating in the awards program, they received an “honorable mention” in Category II where they competed with other companies of similar size.

Spectrum President Roy Osmon said, “Spectrum has been very fortunate over the 28 years we’ve been in business to win awards, and I’m humbled to be recognized as a company that keeps ethics and integrity in mind while conducting business. We’ve emphasized from the beginning that building Spectrum on integrity is the key to achieving success.”

Applications are reviewed by a prestigious panel of judges for their best proven examples of ethical practices or ethical dilemmas in the following six criteria: leadership commitment to ethical practices, communication of ethical practices, organizational commitment to ethical practices, organizational commitment to performance management practices, organizational commitment to ethical human resource practices and organizational commitment to the community.
